This Wally Messenger footage from 1957, features a match between the Blaketown v Cobden 9th grade junior teams, which was a curtain-raiser to the West Coast versus Golden Bay-Motueaka, Seddon Shield clash, at Rugby Park.

This footage is a flashback to Rugby Park Greymouth in 1994, for highlights of John Sturgeon's Steins v The Air NZ XV, that was highlighted on the Moro Sports Extra television show. It begins with two of the days Steins, Richard Loe and Mike Brewer being interviewed about Canterbury's hopes for the 94 season, and continues with action featuring some of NZ's finest players of the day, and a handful of our local lads, putting on a great display of festival footy.
This YouTube footage features a very memorable game from 2009 at Rugby Park, between West Coast versus North Otago. In an exhilarating match, West Coast needed a four try bonus point, and to stop North Otago from getting a losing bonus point, for West Coast to host a potential home semi and final.
